Measure side to side directly below the armholes, with the garment flat.

High shoulder length

Measure from the shoulder/neck junction to the hem, excluding collar and hood.

Reference size guide from Takween

All measurements are in centimetres, taken on the garment laid flat without stretching. Sizes may vary by model and cut.

Garment width versus chest circumference

Garment width is measured across a flat garment, below the armholes. Body circumference is a different measurement; do not compare it directly with flat width.

Before choosing your size

Should I measure my body or a garment?

Follow the measurement type specified by the model chart. For garment dimensions, lay a well-fitting garment flat without stretching. For body measurements, use a flexible tape without pressing into the body.

Does the same size fit every garment?

Cuts differ between T-shirts, hoodies and medical clothing, and between models. Check the chart for the model you are ordering.

How do I collect team sizes?

Record each employee’s name, garment, model and measurements. Review a sample with the team before confirming quantities.
