Custom Logo Blankets for Cafés in Amman: Keep Your Terrace Full All Winter
By Tekween ·
If you run a café or restaurant with outdoor seating in Amman, you know the pattern: as soon as evenings turn cold, the terrace empties. A simple fix more café owners are using is a soft polar fleece blanket carrying the café's logo, ready on every chair. In this Tekween guide we explain why it works, how many blankets you need, and how to choose colours, embroidery and a hygiene routine.

The winter terrace problem in Amman
Amman's winter days can be pleasant, but after sunset temperatures drop fast, especially in higher areas and open seating. The result: guests order once and leave, or refuse to sit outside at all, and the outdoor tables you invested in stay empty during your busiest evening hours.
Heaters help, but they don't reach every chair and they cost money to run every night. Blankets complement them: personal warmth for every guest at a small one-time cost.
Why a branded blanket works
Comfort first: a warm guest stays longer, and a longer stay means a second drink, a dessert or another order. The blanket isn't just an expense; it raises the average bill.
It is also free marketing: guests photograph their table for Instagram, and when your logo is embroidered on the blanket, every photo becomes a small ad for your café. Blanket colours that match your identity make the whole space feel considered.
How many blankets should you order?
A simple rule of thumb: one blanket per outdoor seat, plus about 20% spare for the washing rotation, so you always have clean blankets while others are being washed.
Example: you have 30 outdoor seats. 30 + 20% (6 blankets) = about 36 blankets. Tekween's minimum order is 12 pieces, so even a small café can start.
Choosing colours to match your café
The blanket comes in 12 colours: dusty pink, chocolate brown, coral pink, dark green, cream, lavender, mustard, teal, navy, dark olive, royal blue and burgundy, and another colour can be requested. Pick a main colour from your brand, and mix two or three colours in the same order if you like.
Practical tip: darker shades such as navy, burgundy and chocolate brown hide everyday wear between washes, while cream beige gives a warm feel to wooden terraces.

Embroidery or no embroidery?
The blanket is 4.5 JOD per piece without embroidery, or 5 JOD with one standard-size embroidered logo. Half a dinar turns it into a piece that carries your name and is less likely to go missing.
Logo tips: a simple logo with clear lines embroiders better than one full of tiny details. Send the clearest file you have and we send the design for approval first. For printing instead of embroidery or a bigger logo, ask for a quote.
How to offer blankets to guests
Keep a folded blanket on the back of every chair, or in a basket near the terrace entrance, so guests see it the moment they sit down and never need to ask. When the blanket is already there, guests feel the place cares about their comfort, and that feeling is what brings them back with friends.
Train staff to offer a blanket with a simple line, and to collect used blankets as soon as guests leave, straight into the laundry basket. That way every new guest gets a clean, neatly folded blanket.

Care and hygiene
Hygiene matters most when blankets pass between guests. Keep a steady rotation: some on the chairs, some in the wash. Wash at a low temperature (30°C maximum), with no bleach or chlorine and with similar colours, and dry each blanket fully before folding and storing.
Cost example
For a café with 30 outdoor seats: 36 blankets × 4.5 JOD with logo embroidery = 180 JOD (or 36 × 4.5 = 162 JOD without a logo). That is under 7 JOD per seat for a whole winter season, recovered after a few extra orders.
